3rd Edition of the Holiday camp in Cap d’Ail in France
The eight (08) best students of the country, from 14 to 17 years, will spend a three (03) weeks stay from 21st July to August 12th in the Mediterranean Center for French Studies in Cap d'Ail, South of France.
The ceremony of the proceedings of the travel of these children from eight (8) regions of the country took place on Thursday, July 20th, 2017, at Children Of Africa’s headquarters in Cocody in the presence of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, Mrs. Kandia Camara, Minister for National Education and Technical Education, Mrs. Nys Florence, Administrator and Secretary General of the Association Cité Club Universitaire, parents of pupils and many other personalities.
Set up by Children Of Africa Foundation of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara in collaboration with the Association Cité Club Universitaire, this educational stay in Cap d'Ail in France aims to celebrate and reward excellence in education.
Thus, the winners of this third edition have an annual average between 18 and 16 out of 20. The happy winners of this educational journey come from the cities of Dabou, Mankono, Abidjan, Ferkéssedougou, Odienné, Bouaflé, Divo and Abengourou.
Taking advantage of the ceremony, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, President of Children Of Africa encouraged children to cultivate excellence in school. "I would like to congratulate you on your excellent academic results. I am very proud of you, just as your parents are. And I encourage you to continue working well at school, "she congratulated. According to Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, this educational stay will not only allow children to improve their knowledge and experience, but also to make new friends from all over the world.
Mrs. Nys Florence, Administrator and Secretary General of the “Association Cité Club Universitaire”, has written the program which is waiting for the young beneficiaries of this stay in Cap d'Ail. According to Mrs. Lys, the children will not only spend an educational time by improving the French and English languages, but also have a varied cultural and recreational experience. "You will find yourself in the midst of young people of your age, of multiple nationalities, last year 43 flags floated at the Mediterranean Center of French Studies during the stay of the Côte d’Ivoire," she recalled.
